Senior Accountant

Summary of Responsibilities 

Assist the Controller in daily, weekly and monthly tasks to close the books and provide financial information to management.

 

 Essential Functions

Spotter Driver

Summary of Responsibilities;

Tractor Driver is responsible for transporting materials between all Tufco Green Bay facilities and local vendors (within 50 mile radius).  Driver will also be required to assist with loading and unloading all raw and finished materials at Tufco facilities by utilizing appropriate equipment, i.e. forks, clamps, or other unique equipment design to move Tufco’s materials.  To support these duties driver must be able to enter required data into Tufco’s computer Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system manually or with provided computer scanners. 

 Essential Functions;

  • Maintain CDL Class “A” certification by strictly following all “Rules of the Road” for this certification.
  • Responsible to maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the plant and warehouse needs
  • Maintain efficient trailer movements between the plants and the warehouse
  • Following the Receiving SOP’s, unload trailers, label product, complete ERP entries, and move materials to their proper storage location.

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with the overall safe, efficient and continuous operation of assigned blending responsibilities and equipment on a daily basis, based on company standards.  Ensure that quality products are produced in the appropriate quantity and within the established guidelines.  Work as a productive leader/member of the manufacturing team and independently. Keep blending equipment sanitized. Maintain and monitor water systems and waste water disposal. Monitor all production to ensure lotion requirements are met.

  • Blending in 3 separate tank farms.
  • Understand and perform to the Tufco Technologies Quality System, Customer’s Quality Process Standards and / or Specification Requirements.

Maintenance Planner

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Efficiently distributes work order assignments among maintenance personnel as directed by the Reliability Engineer. Tracks, documents and enter all data necessary to produce accurate labor reporting in the form of charts and graphs. Works within to develop effective PM program and accurate asset database with CMMS.

Microbiology Lab Technician

Summary of Responsibilities

Perform daily Microbiology testing and assist in any external testing requirements with qualified microbiological services.  Have a complete understanding of the Quality System and assist in the implementation of any new systems as required.

Position takes daily direction from Microbiology Lab Lead but reports to Quality Control Manager.

 

Essential Functions

  • Understand and perform work in accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Perform daily activities of the Micro Lab to include but not limited to:
    1. Logging in samples
    2. Plating finished product and environmental samples
    3. Reading results for finished product and environmental samples
    4. Making Media
    5. Follow all laboratory procedures to ensure the safety of other technicians and to obtain accurate results.
  • Assist in the training and qualification of new Laboratory Technicians.
  • Assist in process troubleshooting when results require investigation for products.
  • Use and understand quality software to interpret run charts and ensure test result accuracy.  Communicate results to Quality Services Manager or the Micro Lab Lead to ensure minimal process variation.
  • Assist in the corrective action resolution when necessary.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices as appropriate and document all work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Proper handling and disposal of chemicals and understanding the HMIS codes.
  • Perform problem-solving functions when called upon.
  • Understand and comply with all lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Must work in a safe and ethical manner at all times.

 

 Qualifications: 

Education:

BS in Microbiology, Biology or related science degree

 

Experience:

  • Experience in microbiology in Pharmaceutical, Food or other Manufacturing environment.

Wet Process Technician

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with the overall safe, efficient and continuous operation of assigned blending responsibilities and equipment on a daily basis, based on company standards.  Ensure that quality products are produced in the appropriate quantity and within the established guidelines.  Work as a productive leader/member of the manufacturing team and independently. Keep blending equipment sanitized. Maintain and monitor water systems and waste water disposal. Monitor all production to ensure lotion requirements are met.

 

 Essential Functions

  • Blending in 3 separate tank farms.
  • Understand and perform to the Tufco Technologies Quality System, Customer’s Quality Process Standards and / or Specification Requirements.
  • Batch concentrate.
  • Perform daily process rounds.
  • Troubleshoot Processing System problems as needed, take appropriate corrective actions, and know when to call for assistance.
  • Work with production lines when weekly line sanitations are performed.
  • Adjust pH in waste sump pit.
  • Trained and qualified to perform on the following laboratory equipment for solution testing: (Including calibration)
  1. FTIR – Determine chemical quantities of batches
  2. UV/VIS spectrophotometer
  3. HPLC – Determine chemical levels of batches
  4. pH meter – pH levels
  5. Moisture Analyzer
  6. Determine chlorine PPM – Titration
  • Perform Sanitization of Process equipment.
  • Conduct chemical raw material sampling as needed.
  • Conduct sampling for microbiology testing.
  • Conduct chemical raw material inventories as needed.
  • Perform written and verbal communication with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing personnel using process measurement data recorded in Quality Windows and Out-of-Specification (OOS) variable/attribute testing when necessary.
  • Place all non-conforming items on hold using Tufco’s Hold/Reject process.
  • Assist in the root cause determination, corrective action taken, and documentation process.
  • Comply with all processes and procedures to remain environmentally compliant.
  • Proper handling and disposal of chemicals and understanding the GHS codes
  • A working understanding of the Shop Orders and Bill of Materials.
  • Perform problem-solving functions when called upon.
  • Maintaining and cleaning of the Processing System and Laboratory areas.

Maintenance Mechanic

Summary of Responsibilities 

Position requires the knowledge and ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain production, manufacturing, and building and support equipment. 

 Essential Functions

Summary of Responsibilities

The E&I engineering position and functional duties are to support the Core operations through assistance in maintenance, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements to the assets.  Additionally, the E&I engineer will build capability in the maintenance department and operations with respect to technical aspects of the assets.

The E&I engineer shall assist and lead Capital improvement projects and represent Tufco on all Contract Manufacturing projects through Commercialization.  Including, but not limited to Vendor site and Tufco site Validation, Contract Engineering Management, Scope and technical definition of processes relating to the field.
